Dr. David Knopf was raised in New Haven, Connecticut. He received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, being awarded a D.M.D. in 1973. Dr. Knopf spent 7 years on active duty in the U.S. Army Dental Corps and a Master’s of Education awarded by the University of Southern California. Upon completion of active duty, Dr. Knopf continued as a reserve officer and the commander of a reserve dental unit retiring in 1996 as a Ltc. Dr. Knopf began a group dental practice in 1979 in Timonium, Maryland and has provided comprehensive general dental care since that time. His continuing efforts in dental education have added layers of complexity and additional skills in all areas.
Dr. Knopf has served on the peer review committee for the Baltimore County Dental Association and is active in the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. Visit Website
