Dr. Karl Zeren is regarded as a consummate professional and has been in practice since 1979. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery, and has been elected to the prestigious American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.

He has contributed to the education of several generations of periodontal residents at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry and general practice residents at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally and received prestigious awards for his clinical research and published research articles in the field of periodontics and dental implants.
