Johns Hopkins-trained surgeons Dr. Ira Papel, Dr. Theda Kontis, and Dr. Emile Brown offer a full spectrum of industry-leading cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Drs. Papel and Kontis are board-certified facial plastic surgeons, with exclusive focus on the face and neck. Dr. Brown is a board-certified plastic surgeon and performs full-body surgery, with specialized training in cosmetic breast and body contouring procedures.
Dr. Papel is known both locally and internationally for his expertise in primary and revision rhinoplasty, as well as facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Kontis joined the practice in 1994. In addition to performing facial rejuvenation surgeries, Dr. Kontis is a nationally recognized expert in Botox® and facial filler injections. Dr. Brown joined the practice in 2017 after completing an advanced fellowship in aesthetic plastic surgery at Harvard.
Drs. Papel, Kontis, and Brown are pleased to offer comprehensive plastic surgery services, in addition to medical skin care and laser treatments. Unlike many other practices, all injectable procedures at the Aesthetic Center at Woodholme are performed by the doctors.
