Raise your champagne glasses for a toast to 110 years!
Partygoers came together at The Hippodrome Theatre on Thursday, August 17 for Baltimore magazine’s annual Best of Baltimore Party presented by Horseshoe Casino Baltimore. The event continued the magazine’s partnership with The Family Tree as the charity beneficiary.
This year’s party was a toast to the magazine’s 110th anniversary. The party began with 2,000 guests dressed in cocktail attire, sparkling with silver and gold accents, being wowed by a white entranceway, floating bubbles, and a Best of Baltimore cut-out sign where they could pose and take pictures. The impeccable design is all thanks to Revolution Event Design and Production.
Throughout the rest of the party space, guests enjoyed tastings from more than 30 celebrated local restaurants and clinked glasses at many of the craft cocktails bars and decorated beer lounges including Pyrat rum’s golden treasure theme featuring The Golden Hoti cocktail and the silver themed Reyka Vodka Bar with its One-Ten-Tini. For dessert, partygoers grabbed a slice of Charm City Cakes custom-designed anniversary cake.
The dance floor was alive with the tunes of The Bellevederes and the party beats of DJ Kopec, and guests could also take a break to line up at the Pixilated Photo Booth. Continuing the elegant white theme, Peroni designed a lounge where dancers could relax and cool off.
Other guests lined up to get their kiss imprints read at the VIP Lip Messages“kissing station” or posed by the silver and gold crab wall, designed by VIP lounge sponsor Media Star Promotions, for a picture with friends. VIP guests enjoyed a comprehensive menu from La Cuchara and Minnow while listening to the soulful music performed by the Rachel Ann Morgan Band.
