Baltimoreans need a place to connect to crisis services and a safe place to recover that provides accessible mental health and substance-use treatment options. Since 1992, BCRI has provided access to these services to Baltimore City residents, regardless of ability to pay.

With a motto of “Saving Lives for Over 25 Years,” BCRI is committed to individualized treatment that serves the needs of our community while fostering recovery, inspiring hope and compassion for all.

We are the city’s first and only comprehensive crisis-response system of care, providing a 24/7/365 crisis hotline and mobile crisis teams, residential crisis and medical detoxification treatment, and community outreach and education services.
