Bello Machre

Bello Machre provides a lifetime commitment of loving care for children and adults with developmental disabilities
throughout Maryland. Founded in 1972 by parents of children with developmental disabilities, we promise families that we will
always be there for their loved ones.

We provide individuals with support to attend community-based activities, educational opportunities, and develop and maintain
independent living skills.

We care for people in safe, accessible homes throughout the community. A live-in caregiver guides and helps those we
support to be as independent as possible.

We offer personalized opportunities for those who are seeking leisure, social, and educational activities. This includes services
to help individuals find competitive employment in the community.

Our key events include Every Step Counts—a walk and bike event in June—and our annual golf tournament in September. Share your time, talents, and resources through our giving programs and volunteer opportunities.
