Bello Machre

Bello Machre provides a lifetime commitment of loving care and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities throughout Maryland. Established in 1972 by parents of children with developmental disabilities, we pledge unwavering support for families and their loved ones.

We care for people in welcoming, accessible homes throughout the community, supported by a live-in caregiver who promotes their independence through our Residential Services.

Our Community Services provide support for individuals to take part in community activities, explore educational opportunities, and develop and maintain independent living skills. This includes customized opportunities for leisure, social, and learning activities, as well as services to assist individuals in securing competitive employment in the community.

We also provide funding to families for a variety of needs, from specialized summer camp to adaptive equipment expenses through our Hertha & Jesse Adams Ray of Hope Program.
