Dionne Wainwright-Powell has seen the real estate world from many perspectives. She began over 20 years ago as an investor. It was that experience, buying multiple homes over several years, that showed her there were ways she could improve the customer experience while respecting the bottom line and gaining economies of scale. She views each client’s journey through that perspective.

Today, that experience informs her work as Associate Broker and Team Leader of The Synergy Group of eXp Realty. The Synergy Group serves the Baltimore Metropolitan area and Howard, Harford, and Carroll counties. Dionne explains that she loves helping her clients find their dream home. So, it’s no surprise she’s assembled a Dream Team that includes lender partner, Bill Dent, and title partner, Erika Madden, who help her and The Synergy Group give clients a one-of-a-kind, concierge-level experience. “My clients know when they hire me, they’re getting an experienced agent with extensive market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, and attention to detail, who will ensure that every aspect of the transaction is managed with precision and efficiency. I’m all about the numbers AND the experience being first class…and I won’t compromise on either of those two,” she says. Wainwright-Powell explains that, thanks to her extensive network and creative strategies, she’s optimistic about the current market and helping her clients make winning, data-driven decisions.

When she’s not scoring wins for clients, she uses her experience to mentor young agents, building their capacity so they can competently and enthusiastically serve their clients with confidence under her mentorship. As her own business grows, so too does her work to enrich her community. Currently she’s partnered with Harlem Park Elementary/Middle School in Baltimore City, providing students resources throughout the year.
