Everyman Theatre is a professional Equity theatre company celebrating the actor, with a resident company of artists from the Baltimore/D.C. area. Only a handful of theatres nationwide feature an ensemble of professional actors that perform regularly each season. Because of their unique bond and trust of each other, company members can jump deeply into meaningful relationships onstage. Our artists challenge and encourage each other to deliver the highest caliber work. Founded in 1990 by Vincent M. Lancisi, the theatre is dedicated to engaging the audience through a shared experience between actor and audience, seeking connection in every performance. The theatre strives to engage, inspire, and transform artists, audiences, and communities through theatre, and is committed to embodying the promise of its name, Everyman Theatre.
