The firm is led by managing partner Steven R. Freeman, who has over 40 years of experience representing businesses and individuals in complex civil and criminal litigation. Freeman has litigated cases, jury and non-jury, in the state and federal courts of Maryland and the District of Columbia and has argued numerous appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, Maryland Court of Appeals and the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.

In addition to assisting clients in a wide range of business, commercial, and personal matters, Freeman focuses on the defense of automobile, recreational vehicle and motorcycle/motorsports manufacturers, dealers and automobile finance companies directly, and on behalf of insurance carriers, in class actions, products liability, warranty, employment litigation, and administrative matters. He regularly advises manufacturers, dealers and distributors in regulatory, franchise and EEOC matters, including all aspects of dealer operations, MVA investigations, and state and federal regulations.
