Between David, Michael, and Marcello, our firm has 33 years of collective industry experience. In 2009, David and Michael teamed up and began sharing their expertise to create a better experience for their clients. In 2018, they met Marcello and decided to join forces, operating as Garrison Forest Advisory Group.

As a firm, we take a holistic approach to meeting clients’ needs, providing goal-based financial planning, wealth management, investment services, and insurance planning.

We believe that our process is what sets us apart. We are continuously making improvements to that process based on feedback from our clients. The most important part of our financial planning is education, as we believe strongly in empowering our clients to be able to make educated financial decisions.

Whether you are just getting started or are nearing retirement, every moment in a client’s life is equally important and deserves the same attention to detail—and every client’s situation is unique and deserves a custom financial plan.

David holds an RICP® with the American College of Financial Services and has been a resident of Maryland for 19 years. He is an avid kayaker, bicyclist, dog lover, and world traveler.

Michael is an Owings Mills native who lives with his wife, Rachel, and their twin daughters, with whom he enjoys adventures and outings.

Marcello grew up in Silver Spring and has since made Baltimore his home. His favorite activities include spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, and playing roller hockey.

The team also gives back to the community: Our firm supports the Kangaroo Kids organization, which promotes exercise and a healthy life choices for kids.
