HOWARD CUMMINS

Howard Cummins has the appliance business in his blood: It was in 1928 that his grandfather founded Cummins Appliance, which evolved to provide premium and top-rated kitchen, laundry, and outdoor appliances, including delivery, installation, parts, and service. Recently merged with ABW Appliances, it has created a sixth location and a Baltimore presence for ABW. Joining Cummins right after college, he says the family-owned company became the biggest part of his life: “It is a humbling experience to serve the needs of the region for all these years while being responsible for the welfare and security of our employees and their families.” Cummins Appliance has won Best in Baltimore multiple times, plus received multiple certificates of recognition from the State Comptroller and Baltimore County Executive for dedication to customer service.
