Paris West Optical is a European-inspired boutique boasting a large selection of international eyewear and offering the latest in digital lens technologies. Owner Jordan Flitter founded the company in 1995 from the sale of his baseball card collection. “I was told that there was no way a private pay, high end shop would succeed in a blue-collar town like Baltimore, but I was stubborn as a young man.” Following his late father’s advice to “always be of service,” Flitter has built a loyal customer base, some of whom have been coming for decades. His staff has over 150 years of combined experience and is extremely service-oriented. Even Flitter’s mother graces the shop a few days a week, ensuring the staff is always on best behavior.
