KIERA CAFFREY
Kiera, 16, is founder and president of St. Timothy’s School’s Young Investors Society and the Investment Competition Team and is the youngest member of the 450-member Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle at the Baltimore Community Foundation (BCF). Her desire to help other teens see the impact of collective philanthropy led Keira to launch the Baltimore Teen Giving Circle in 2023. One of a few such groups nationwide, the group inspires local teens to pool resources ($25 per member per quarter) and then vote on a quarterly grant recipient. Kiera was one of four recipients of the 2024 Maryland Young Women Leaders Award through Maryland’s Department of Human Services Women’s Hall of Fame, and a NASA summer 2023 accounting intern, all in addition to being a student athlete.
