Lisa Rusyniak

Lisa Rusyniak has spent over 25 years working for Goodwill and has dedicated herself to addressing poverty in the community through the power of work. As president and CEO for the past 11 years, she is committed more than ever to breaking down barriers to employment and connecting people to careers. Last year, Goodwill placed over 850 individuals into jobs and provided additional support services to thousands of people. In 2023, Rusyniak is committed to opening The Excel Center, the first adult high school in the state providing a high school education and degree to adults 21 and over. As a social enterprise, Goodwill uses the sale of donated goods to fund its workforce development programs. Rusyniak has won numerous awards and has recently been inducted into The Maryland Daily Record’s Circle of Excellence.
