Mentoring Mentors
Serving youth ages 11-18, our mission is to enhance academic achievement, inspire confidence, and expose youth to positive mentoring experiences that transform the trajectory of their future.
Mentoring Mentors is an organization that celebrates interdependency and teaches commitment to the community. We do so with generous support from The Shelter Foundation, The Abell Foundation, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, OSI Baltimore, The Leadership, The Elbow Fund, M. Sigmund and Barbara K. Shapiro Philanthropic Fund, The Joseph and Harvey Meyerhoff Family Charitable Funds, and Lockhart Vaughan Foundation, Inc.
We address the need to refute stereotypes about African-Americans, particularly males in urban communities. We believe in early-intervention mentoring that teaches empathy and community and engages youth in their own development and the development of their younger counterparts.
