Snehal Massey, Principal

A woman-owned, client-driven boutique law firm, SPM Law specializes in the resolution of family disputes in the simplest, most efficient way possible by keeping our client’s goals at the center of our strategy, listening to their needs, and always showing care and empathy in everything we do.

Our mission is to help families through difficult transitions efficiently and compassionately by providing client-centered, professional representation, because the practice of law and methods of resolution are not “one-size-fits-all.” Our recommendations about the best approach—whether in or out of court—are guided by the client’s vision of their future.

After earning her law degree in 2015, Snehal Massey, SPM’s principal, clerked for the Honorable Ronald A. Silkworth (Ret.) of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. During her clerkship, she intimately observed the ways in which attorneys can help—or hinder—a client’s case. She left her clerkship knowing that being a client-centered advocate was the only way she would be fulfilled as an attorney. In 2021, she launched her own legal practice, SPM Law, LLC, because she wanted a different experience for her clients and needed a different experience for herself. She manages a team of legal and support staff who support her commitment to making the transition during a difficult time in a person’s life a little easier by providing legally sound, practical advice rooted in compassion and experience.

Massey has been consecutively named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2021 and was most recently featured in the Maryland Bar Journal’s Fall 2023 issue.
