The Arc of Howard County

Cindy Parr is leading The Arc of Howard County in its mission to help people with disabilities live full and meaningful lives. “Covid-19 has been the most challenging of times,” says Cindy, “we continue to make sure the people we support are safe, active, and healthy. We’ve pivoted to e-learning and increased use of technology to ensure our most vulnerable population is connected to their loved ones and our community.”

Awarded an Excellence Accreditation from Maryland Association of Nonprofit Organizations, The Arc of Howard County is celebrating 60 years.

Says Cindy, “My goal is to ensure the organization’s success into the next 60 years!”
