The Coordinating Center

Since 1983, The Coordinating Center has been Maryland’s premier nonprofit care coordination organization for children and adults living with disabilities and/or complex medical needs. Our coordinators work with each individual and their caregiver to identify their strengths, preferences, and areas for growth, as well as any barriers that inhibit a person from achieving their goals.

Through the generosity of donors, our Family Resource Fund helps people afford critical items such as housing, adaptive medical supplies and equipment, and dental care. We also offer resources that improve a person’s quality of life, such as hearing aids, eyeglasses, summer camp and respite care.

At The Coordinating Center, we don’t just remove barriers, we aim to dismantle inequalities within our policies, systems, programs, and services. It’s what makes us exceptional in achieving our mission and drives us to deliver culturally competent and effective care coordination services.
