Zack Trabbold, owner and executive chef at The Local in Fallston, started working in restaurants when he was young, and fell in love. He was supported in the business by his brother, who raised him. Today, Trabbold is a decorated culinary star. He’s been named Best Chef of Maryland and placed in the top three at the 2021 World Food Championships in Dallas, Texas. The Local serves elevated comfort food using only the best local ingredients. The business adapted through pandemic challenges in order to give its guests the best experience possible. Open only since 2021, The Local has already purchased two new locations and is eyeing a third. Trabbold credits it’s growth to impeccable food service and investment in the community.
