Shaheen Mazloom started commercial lending firm Versa Business Systems to meet the different needs of all clients while getting them the best rate and term possible.

“We don’t believe in doing business that doesn’t benefit all parties,” says Mazloom, a native of the United Kingdom who was raised on cattle ranches. “It all boils down to integrity, transparency,
and honesty.”

With 25 years of experience in the industry, he wanted to create a firm that didn’t take advantage of business owners. “I started Versa Business Systems over three years ago to change that, by educating business owners so they understand why they got approved for the rate and term they did, rather than having to hard-close everyone.”

In addition to having a very high ratio of repeat business and closing—and an A+ BBB rating—the company also gives back: It adopts families for Christmas and donates 10 percent of any large deals to charity.
