Zack Trabbold, owner and executive chef of Evolved Hospitality Group, started working in the hospitality industry at the age of 13 and fell in love with it right away. He was encouraged into the business by his older brother, who raised him. Today, Trabbold is a decorated culinary star and restaurateur. Among his many awards and accolades, he’s been named “Best Chef” in Maryland for the past two years by Baltimore magazine’s Reader’s Poll and was recently named “Chef of the Year” by the Maryland Restaurant Association. Trabbold is now growing a restaurant group: Evolved Hospitality Group. Based out of his flagship location, the Local Harco, the group includes a catering venue (Evolved Event Center), Grounded coffee lounge, Butcher & Banter steakhouse, and another Local location on the way. Trabbold credits their growth to his amazing staff, impeccable food and service, and investment in his community. Trabbold says this is just the beginning and can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him and his team.
