Art Space: Sarah Manley’s Bubbly Illustrations Boast the Power of Song
Meet the local artist, and musician by trade, whose drawings have gone viral on Instagram.

Sarah Manley started drawing “on accident.” The 28-year-old is a musician by trade, and through her viral drawings, which reside on her Instagram page, @sarahmanleyart, it’s easy to see where the Station North resident’s inspiration stems from. Whether it’s a song lyric by Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers (pictured right) or Maryland’s own Snail Mail, “I always have the same feeling when I know I want to make art out of it,” says Manley. “My art makes me feel really whole.”
