Neil Feather Wins Sondheim Prize

Inventor of unique musical instruments takes home $25,000 award.

Local artist Neil Feather was awarded the 2014 Janet and Walter Sondheim Artscape Prize last night at The Walters. Feather—who is well-known around town for inventing sculptural musical instruments—won $25,000, while the other five finalists received $2,500 each. You can check out Feather’s amazing work, along with work by all the finalists, at The Walters through August 17.
