Nov. 17: Big Softy x Glizzys Pop-Up at Wet City
Wet City. 223 W. Chase St. 12-5 p.m. Free admission
Get ready to talk some smack and stomp on some Terrible Towels. The Ravens play the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Sunday, which means a local watch party with all of the requisite gameday grub is a must. At Wet City in Mt. Vernon, fan-favorite pop-ups Glizzys Wagyu Dogs and Big Softy are coming together to offer a collaborative lineup of loaded hot dogs, doughy square pizzas, and other snacks that are representative of the Maryland/Pennsylvania clash. Must-try menu items include pierogis in a crab fat cream sauce; crabby corn dogs; an umami blooming onion with sesame, Sriracha, and soft shell crab; and the Primanti-Style Surf and Turf—seared wagyu topped with crab, chimichurri, and tomato on an Italian roll.
After the game, catch Big Softy at Baltimore Spirits Co. in Hampden—where chef Craig Falk and the city’s resident “Healthtender” Amie Ward will be slinging their most creative, over-the-top food and drink concoctions at their second-annual Gratuitous Friendsgiving Extravaganza.

Nov. 17: Sankofa Dance Theater: 30 Years of Music, Movement, and Folkways
Baltimore Museum of Art. 10 Art Museum Dr. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Prices vary.
In celebration of Sankofa Dance Theater’s 30th anniversary and brand-new hardcover book, the Baltimore-based dance company—known for sharing traditional music and movement from the Senegambia region of West Africa—will be hosting a full day of workshops and performances at the BMA. No matter your experience level, all are welcome to join free morning drum and dance classes. At 4 p.m., a ticketed concert will honor the troupe’s rich legacy with performances by an intergenerational ensemble—many of whom haven’t taken the stage all together in more than a decade. To commemorate the experience, don’t forget to grab a copy of the 200-page coffee table book—co-written by Sankofa founder Kibibi Ajanku and art historian Angela N. Carroll, with contributions from Dr. Leslie King Hammond and Dr. Kokahvah Zauditu-Selassie—from the BMA shop before you head home.

Nov. 15: Music Under the Dome: Taylor Swift
Maryland Science Center, 601 Light St. 7-10 p.m. $35
It was only a matter of time before the Maryland Science Center’s reoccurring planetarium concert series—which has featured the music of everyone from ’90s summer pop stars to Queen and The Talking Heads—explored The Eras. Sit back, relax, and unwind from your week with the immersive experience that pairs choreographed lights and images (we’re envisioning “Bejeweled” patterns, “Red” tones, cotton-candy “Lover” aesthetics, and lots of sparks flying) with a Swiftie soundtrack. Get there a bit before showtime to enjoy adult beverages and science demos before heading in.
