Dec. 22: Cozy Sunday Pop-Up
Our Time Kitchen. 117 W. 24 St. 12-4 p.m. Pay as you go.
The Ravens play on Saturday this week (fingers crossed we send the Steelers moping back to Pittsburgh after an L!), which means Sunday will be prime time to relax before the holiday craziness sets in. Our Time Kitchen in Old Goucher is providing the perfect venue to veg out in its backyard, which will be equipped with a fire pit, space heaters, plenty of warm blankets, and vibey tunes spun by DJ Jadeyte. Most importantly, there will be steamy bowls of ramen for slurping by Yume Koya, as well as warm, spicy chai to sip from Chachu’s. To make the afternoon even sweeter, Chachu’s will be giving away raffle tickets to win swag in exchange for every cup of chai purchased.

Southpaw. 529 S. Bond St. 4-10 p.m. Pay as you go.
The expert bartenders from Southpaw, Dutch Courage, and Pink Flamingo (Dutch Courage’s soon-to-open Remington sister spot) are uniting to help locals forget their winter woes with this special pop-up highlighting tropical cocktails. Though the full lineup hasn’t been released, we can only expect that the drinks will be a preview of what’s to come at Pink Flamingo—which is slated to specialize in rum classics like daiquiris, piña coladas, Zombies, and Jungle Birds. Retreat from the cold, snag a seat at the bar, and take your taste buds on a trip to the The Aloha State by way of Fells Point.

Chesapeake Shakespeare Company. 7 S. Calvert St. Times vary. $28-79.
It’s the final weekend to experience writer Laura Rocklyn’s Baltimore-themed retelling of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic at Chesapeake Shakespeare Company—a tradition that the downtown playhouse has kept going for an entire decade. Set in 19th-century Charm City, the “fresh take on the classic story follows a miser’s journey to discovering the real meaning of the holidays.” Special community events on deck for closing weekend include pre-show crafts, hot cocoa, and half-off tickets for kids on Friday, as well as an opening choir performance by local a cappella group, Larksong, on Sunday.

Dec. 21: Eze Jackson Presents: Dirty Xmas
Metro Bmore. 1700 N. Charles St. 8 p.m. $15
As a collaborative hip-hop artist, producer, and founder of local media company EPIC FAM, Eze Jackson plays a lot of shows throughout the year. But among the most special is his annual Dirty Xmas concert at Metro Gallery. There, he curates a lineup of local performers to honor and celebrate the breadth of the Charm City DIY scene as the year comes to a close. This Saturday will be no exception. Head to the Station North club to hear sets from dynamic saxophonist Daoure Diongue, DJ AyyMello, rap collective Tew World Order, rapper Wish Granted, performer and producer Benjamin Banger, and, of course, Jackson himself. With so many talented creatives taking one stage, we can only expect the encore will be incredible.

Dec. 21: Winter Solstice in the Dell
Wyman Park Dell. North Charles and 29th Sts. 6-8 p.m. Pay as you go.
Ring in the winter solstice—the yearly point when the North Pole is tilted furthest away from the sun—with this annual tradition hosted by the Friends of Wyman Park Dell. Be sure to bundle up tight (temperatures are expected to dip into the twenties on Saturday) before heading to the dell to mingle with friends and neighbors while sipping warm drinks and indulging in sweets from nearby Gertrude’s Chesapeake Kitchen. Meanwhile, delight in live guitar and violin acoustics by Megan and Charley Beller, and do you part to illuminate a festive pedal-powered holiday tree.
