Get ready to sea and be scene at the Baltimore Seafood Festival this week. The festival, held on Sept. 20 at the Canton Waterfront Park (12 p.m.-6 p.m.) will feature some of our favorite area restaurants serving signature seafood dishes such as octopus with hazelnuts and pepperocini from Aggio, lemon fish tacos from Barcocina, local oysters from Ryleigh’s Oyster, and mahi-mahi ceviche from Bond Street Social.
Also on hand, cooking demonstrations by Baltimore chefs (Timothy Dyson of Dooby’s puts the Smith Island crab cake in the spotlight), music by Strykers’ Posse and Super Bueno, and a family–friendly area with face painting.
Tickets start at $29. Kids 10 and under are free. For more information go to baltimoreseafoodfest.com.
