Owl piggy bank: A gift from my sister when I started college. My family has a thing for owls and really solid budgeting techniques.
Thread coffee: Small-batch coffee roaster that runs a great community-supported coffee program.
Indian scarf: My go-to Indian clothing item. When I was living in Chicago, I found this at an Indian store along Devon Avenue (Chicago’s “Little India”).
Shea butter from Pure Shea Store in Lexington Market: Really friendly owners, tons of great products, and scents to choose from!
Sombrero ring: A gift bought in Tulum, Mexico, from my stepmom, with whom I share a taste for big, bold jewelry and bargains.
Farmers’ market bag: For my weekly walks to the JFX farmers’ market.
Necklace from 901 Arts: A simple, lovely necklace made by a 10-year-old girl at the awesome youth arts organization, 901 Arts.
Shinola notebooks: Besides good food, my main splurges in life are on notebooks and fancy pens.
Samosas from MemSahib: I imagine that heaven is just
a large vat of these samosas.
