The Walters Art Museum
If quietly strolling through galleries and speaking in hushed tones is your idea of how to spend time in a museum, you likely weren’t at The Walters Art Museum’s annual gala. “An Evening at the Walters” was all about gussying up and getting down. Some 400 folks attended a seated dinner in some of the galleries. Another 200 guests joined them at 9 p.m. for the Late Night Party featuring cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in various spaces, with a full-out dance scene–complete with DJ–in the museum’s Sculpture Court.
