Ten local people and community organizations (quite literally) shared the spotlight at the Baltimore Community Foundation’s duly named “Neighborhood Spotlight Awards,” in which BCF honored folks who are “quietly” making a difference in their communities. Dozens of attendees gathered at the Maryland Center for History and Culture to celebrate this year’s winners, each of whom took home awards, as well as $5,000 contributions to their nonprofits of choice.
