Gertrude’s at the Baltimore Museum of Art

An evening of intermittent rain, wind, and high humidity wasn’t about to deter some 250 folks from the 22nd-annual Crabaret, a summer garden party fundraiser put on by House of Ruth Maryland. Guests dodged raindrops by seeking shelter inside Gertrude’s Chesapeake Kitchen or under tents in the Baltimore Museum of Art’s sculpture garden, all while enjoying live music, cocktails, and various crab dishes created by chef John Shields. The shindig raised approximately $125,000 for House of Ruth Maryland, which works tirelessly to end violence against women and their children.
