Jazzy Summer Nights
July 4, 2024
6–11 p.m.
Baltimore Peninsula
More than 3,000 folks bypassed the hubbub of the Inner Harbor on Independence Day by heading to Baltimore Peninsula for the July edition of Jazzy Summer Nights—an ongoing summer celebration that falls on the first Thursday of each month. There, they enjoyed eats from food trucks and various vendors, a cash bar, hookah and cigar lounges, and “the best sunset in Baltimore,” according to the event’s owner, LaRian Finney. Even the few raindrops that made a brief visit were enjoyable, bringing a breeze and taking the sweltering temperatures down a bit
And that was only the lead-up to a concert by several performers, the headliner being neo-soul jazz artist, Bilal. To end the evening, guests watched a fireworks show—orchestrated by Baltimore Peninsula and MAG Partners—pop over the Patapsco River.
